This started as a really relaxing vacation.
THEN
THE
GRANDKIDS
ARRIVE
Nolan

NOW
THE
FUN

And their doggie buddies are there too!
Tyson
Zoe
NOW WE MOVE ON TO MEET THE REST OF THE FAMILY
Rylee meets her cousin, Jason, for the first time.
And Jason's dog, Sabrina.
The first stop is the Smoky Mountain Aquarium in Gatlinburg.
Rylee visiting with the fish (in the fish bowl)
Look Out, Jason!!!
Jason recovered quickly from the shark attack and we moved on to
the top of the mountain overlooking Gatlinburg.
All the grandchildren finally together.
Lindsey, Rylee, Jason, Cortney, and Nolan
Meanwhile, back at the cabin...
April and Angel are still relaxing, preparing for the next journey.
DeeDee waits for the re-packing to begin.
Nolan takes a break before getting back into his carseat for the long trip back to Florida.
(Is that moonshine in that bottle?)
Yep, looks like maybe it was!
AAHHHHHHH!!
While part of the family returns to Michigan and the other part to Florida, we stay
in the mountains for one extra day to visit our dear friends, Deborah and Gwen.
A little more relaxing.
And a little playtime.
Guarding dinner.
Gwen's little girl, Darcie.
Deborah's little girl, Holly
Getting ready for the long trip back home to Florida.
The "green bag" is out.  Time to move on again.
BACK HOME IN FLORIDA AND A LITTLE ROOM LEFT FOR
SOME CANDID SHOTS OF THE "BUNCH".

"BABYSITTING" WITH ZOE
Bailey takes a nap.
Watching Dad cut the grass.
The toybox empties quickly when Zoe visits.
The room after "Hurricane Zoe".
Time for a long nap.
Nolan arrives and gets a warm welcome from his dog, Zoe, before they go home.
Bye, Zoe, Until Next Time!
Amber and Max
We have added a small sandbox area where the little guys can dig all they want without
damaging anything.  We didn't realize Benji would dig himself a cave under the cinder blocks.
Tucker, Bailey, Jennie, and Sarah look on.  I'm just glad sand isn't dirty and brushes off easily.
Benji did get a bath after this adventure however.
Jennie usually disappears when the camera is out, but I got this one in the sandbox.
An Update on Serena's congestive heart failure......Our vet called in a cardiac specialist to
examine Serena and do an ultrasound of her heart.  It was found that her heart is leaking in
two places.  The specialist added another medication to the two that she was already taking.
As of right now, she is doing very well on the medication.  We have learned to adapt to her
special needs and will love and take care of her until she lets us know she is ready for her
journey to the Bridge.  Hopefully, she will be with us for a long time still.
Serena still insists on always having something of mine in her possession.  Here she finds an old
shirt of mine that I dropped.   First, she guards it and then picks it up........
.....After that, she moves it to her bed and waits to be covered with it.
What a clown she is!
Serena and Holly enjoy a play session while Tara takes advantage of the bed.
Angel at bath time.  It feels so good to be clean.  (Where is the nearest dirt pile?)
SHHHHH!  Time to go to sleep now....
