| While part of the family returns to Michigan and the other part to Florida, we stay in the mountains for one extra day to visit our dear friends, Deborah and Gwen. |

| We have added a small sandbox area where the little guys can dig all they want without damaging anything. We didn't realize Benji would dig himself a cave under the cinder blocks. Tucker, Bailey, Jennie, and Sarah look on. I'm just glad sand isn't dirty and brushes off easily. Benji did get a bath after this adventure however. |

| An Update on Serena's congestive heart failure......Our vet called in a cardiac specialist to examine Serena and do an ultrasound of her heart. It was found that her heart is leaking in two places. The specialist added another medication to the two that she was already taking. As of right now, she is doing very well on the medication. We have learned to adapt to her special needs and will love and take care of her until she lets us know she is ready for her journey to the Bridge. Hopefully, she will be with us for a long time still. |
